About the Farm
Everwild Farm is a small scale bio intensive regenerative market garden located just outside the Ambler, PA borough. The farm spans roughly 2 acres, with about 1 to 1.25 acres actively in production throughout the growing season.
We do not farm with a tractor. All field work is done by hand using simple tools, careful timing, and a small crew that works close to the plants and the soil. This approach allows us to stay attentive to the land, the crops, and the details that matter.
We grow a diverse mix of vegetables, microgreens, and flowers for local farmers markets, grocers, and farm to table restaurants from Ambler into Philadelphia.
Our work is rooted in growing nutrient dense, beautiful food while rebuilding healthy soils and supporting vibrant local ecosystems. We are looking for people who care about land, food, and community, and who want to be part of shaping a more thoughtful way of growing food.
What It’s Like to Work Here
Working on a small ecological farm is meaningful, physical, and steady. Days move quickly and no two look exactly the same. We work with simple tools, stay close to the plants, and pay attention to the small details that add up to healthy crops and healthy soil.
The work is hands on and outdoors in all kinds of weather. Some days are fast paced, some are quiet, and all involve lifting, bending, walking, and working with intention.
Alongside field work, a good portion of each week is spent harvesting, washing, packing, and processing orders. This is careful, detail oriented work that keeps the farm running smoothly and ensures everything leaving the farm is fresh, clean, and well handled.
You do not need years of experience to join us, but you do need to enjoy being outside, learning new skills, and working as part of a small, close knit team.
We rely on crew members who can work independently when needed, notice what needs to be done, and take initiative without constant direction. If you value meaningful work, simple tools, and being connected to the land each day, you’ll fit in well here.

-People who understand that packing and processing orders is a core part of farm life, not just something that happens on rainy days
Farm experience is strongly preferred, but we are open to training the right person. What matters most is your work ethic, your interest in farming, and your ability to show up ready to contribute each day.
About the Positions
These are seasonal roles, with hours that shift slightly throughout the season.
Typical daily schedule
Spring and Fall: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Summer: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Weekly schedule
Tuesday through Saturday
Markets
-Full time crew rotates through the East Falls Farmers Market, generally two Saturdays per month.
-We also welcome part time applicants who want to be involved in the farm but cannot commit to full time hours. Schedules can be shaped around availability.
-Occasional local deliveries may be required for some positions.
Farm Crew Full Time
Positions Available: 2
Season: April 1 to November 21
Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
Compensation: $18 per hour
Benefits
$125 gear stipend
Two paid 15 minute breaks per shift
Free weekly vegetables
One week paid vacation after the first year
Responsibilities
-Harvest, wash, pack, and process produce orders, including tracking inventory and maintaining an efficient post harvest flow
-Work regularly in the wash and pack area processing CSA, wholesale, and market orders
-Assist with field work including greenhouse seeding, transplanting, trellising, pruning, hand weeding, cultivating, and basic pest management
-Lay or remove materials such as compost, amendments, sandbags, row cover, and irrigation lines
-Support small building projects, seasonal setup, bed preparation, and general farm cleanup
-Use and maintain hand tools effectively
-Rotate through Saturday farmers markets, generally two per month
-Set up, maintain, and break down market displays
-Run the register and engage positively with customers when scheduled
-Occasionally assist with local deliveries
-Represent the farm with care and pride
-Assist with social media if needed
Background and Skills
-Previous farm experience highly desired, though exceptions may be made for the right candidate
-Interest in plant, pest, and disease identification
-Experience with outdoor or manual labor is a plus
-Reliable transportation required
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
-Customer service experience preferred
-Ability to work in all weather
-Physically able to bend, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
-Positive attitude, good communication, and willingness to learn

Farm Crew Part Time
We encourage part time applicants who want to learn ecological farming or contribute to the farm without committing to a full time schedule.
Season: April 1 to November 21
Schedule: Flexible within Tuesday through Saturday
Compensation: $17 per hour
